This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations are handled for both product purchases and decoration services.

1. Order Cancellation (Before Processing)

You may cancel your order before it has been processed for packing or preparation.

If the order has not entered the processing stage, your cancellation will be accepted and the refund (if applicable) will be issued as per our Refund Policy.

2. Cancellation After Order Processing

Order cancellation is not allowed once the order is:

1. Packed
2. Customized
3. Decorated
4. Shipped

Many of our products involve customization, decorations, and material usage that cannot be reversed or reused.

3. Cancellation for Customized or Made-to-Order Items

Orders that include:

1. Customized Thambulam Plates
2. Wedding Aarathi Plates
3. Personalized Decoration Items
4. Special Theme Designs

cannot be cancelled once work has started.

These are specially crafted items, and all sales are final.

4. Rental Booking Cancellation

For rental decorative items (if applicable):

A. Cancellation within 24 hours of booking:

✔ No cancellation charges (if no preparation work has started)

B. Cancellation after 24 hours:

A cancellation charge may apply depending on:

1. Materials prepared
2. Inventory blocked
3. Date commitment

C. Last-minute cancellations (less than 48 hours before event):

Up to 50% cancellation fee may apply due to reserved stock and preparation.

5. Order Cancellation by VK Plate Decors

We may cancel an order if:

1. Product/material is unavailable
2. Payment issues occur
3. Wrong pricing due to system error
4. Suspected fraudulent activity
5. Incomplete or incorrect customer information

If the order is canceled by us, your amount (if paid) will be refunded fully as per our Refund Policy.

6. Refund for Cancelled Orders

Refunds (for eligible cancellations) will be:

1. Issued to the original payment method, or
2. Provided as store credit

Refund Timeline: 5–7 business days (subject to bank/payment gateway processing).
